Folashade is a developmental specialist, training facilitator and consultant with a diverse training track record with different organizations and a rich career path spanning over twenty years post-qualification work-life across relevant sectors of the industry including marketing communications, marketing, sales and executive education/training & development.

She is a marketing development specialist with extensive management experience in retail and business-business marketing having worked in the FMCG business, telecommunications planning and managing the sales and marketing function for a number of top-notch brands and also armed with a stint in the financial institution/asset management market.

She brings a project management capacity planning and implementation side to all her activities and work-related spheres of influence and is especially keen on performance tracking, monitoring and evaluation as key indicators and outcomes of all successful project implementation activities in organizational change management. She has facilitated project management courses for CIMA and as a core course module for the Chartered postgraduate diploma programs of the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK of which she is also a proud alumnus

She has facilitated training programs in the areas of strategic management and business development and blended learning programs for organizations in commercial leadership and strategic marketing programs aimed at injecting new market-led thinking into marketing planning and execution.

She has also facilitated courses in knowledge management built around strategy development and execution to embed KM within the nexus of organizational culture, knowledge asset creation and learning. One initiative currently being pursued in this regard is a developmental initiative with a leading corporate security organization to develop a KM hub and learning system for its seven business units.

Her specific areas of interest also cover capacity development and learning at tertiary and postgraduate levels of education and she has consistently delivered in these areas working with a number of profit and not-for-profit organizations including the public sector and the private sector. To this end, she has been involved in many capacity-building and performance development & management initiatives with a number of NGOs including at the state government level- Lagos State HR training courses for senior management officers (PSSDC training) and sales/organization development for private sector clients many of whom are on the current client list.

Her keen interest in and overall vision for learning in Africa is built on the capacity to leverage the immense opportunities in new emerging markets in which Nigeria is already a strategic player and the role that technology will play in developing an alternative learning model, system and platform for Africa’s emerging business leaders.

She is also a Learning Coach at the Business School Netherlands, Nigeria providing learning and integration support for Executive MBA students.

She is currently the Managing Director of Hyperformance Associated Ltd, a corporate training and executive development organization based in Lagos.
