About the Guest Speaker
Dr. Okey Okere has worked for over two decades as a Knowledge Services Professional. His Management Consulting experience includes Intercultural Management, Organisational Culture, Business Analysis, Strategy, Finance,
Credit/Risk Analysis and Investment Research & Advisory. He also has experience working in the management teams of firms in the telecoms and Food and Beverages industries.
He was an analyst with one of Nigeria’s leading consulting firms, Agusto & Co Limited and later served as the pioneer Chief Operating Officer of Agusto Consulting Limited (the company’s training and consulting subsidiary). Currently, he works as the Chief Executive Officer of Hofstede Insights Nigeria and oversees the group’s operations across Africa. In his capacity as a valued resource with Hofstede Insights, he has delivered training programmes on diversity and inclusiveness, intercultural management and organisational culture in Nigeria, Cameroon, Belgium and Germany.
Okey is a certified Organisational Culture and Intercultural Management Practitioner. He has a bachelor’s degree (B. Tech) from the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) Nigeria. He also has an action-learning based MBA (graduating Magna Cum Laude, with the highest score in the University’s English language MBA) from Business School Netherlands and is in the final stages of completing a Doctorate Degree with the same university. He is a native English speaker and speaks two Nigerian languages.
